Featured Custom Wine Label: Perennial Vineyards

Happy Autumn!

We’re pretty excited here at Noontime Labels. We love autumn, with the cooler weather that says winter is coming. And we have some big plans in the works for next year, so we’re that much closer to a big announcement.

But before we get ahead of ourselves, we wanted to show off our featured custom wine label for September: Continue reading

At the 2015 WineMaker Magazine Conference, Willamette Valley, OR

We have a wonderful time every year at WineMaker Magazine’s annual home winemaking conference, and this year was no exception. This May we traveled to Portland, OR, and got to experience the wonders of Willamette Valley.

As usual, the wine was exquisite, and we learned so many things. Not the least of which was how to properly pronounce Willamette … “It’s Will-AM-it, dammit!” Continue reading

Congrats to 2014 Label Contest Winners

Every November we look forward to the WineMaker Magazine Label Contest winners being announced. That’s because every year we pick out some of our best labels and send them in, with our fingers crossed.

Since wine labels and graphic design are our business, we’re always excited to enter our personal favorites and to see how they fare.

But I have to tell you, we’re also a little nervous each year. After all, there are a lot of creative winemakers submitting their favorite designs, too. Will ours hold up to the competition?

Ready for the Home Winemaking Conference

The Winemaker Magazine Home Winemaking Conference is next week, and I’m pretty excited about it! Mrs. Noontime and I will be in Virginia this year to attend. It’s the third year Noontime Labels has sponsored, and we are proud to be a part of it.

We’re looking forward to connecting with our customers, other winemakers, and show off some of our custom wine labels. We also can’t wait to meet new friends and reconnect with old ones, as well as learn some techniques to make better wine at home. And of course, it’s always a lot of fun to sample everyone’s wines!

Retro Custom Wine Labels

If you wait long enough, what was old will become new again. It was true for miniskirts, platform shoes, and skinny jeans. It’s also true for wine labels.

We’ve noticed a trend in retro-looking wine labels lately on the wines we buy in the store. What’s fun is that they fit right in with today’s bright, colorful, creative labels! To honor this design trend, we’ve created several retro custom bottle labels and recently added them to our website.

One of our favorites is the Dapper label. This is a larger version of our popular Flapper label, and recalls the days of Prohibition, speakeasies, and young ladies dancing the Charleston.Dapper Personalized Wine Label
